Mehrad is an Emmy-nominated television and XR producer who focuses on creating original experiences that harness the power of emerging technologies, thoughtful design, and compelling storytelling in order to develop new formats for narrative and interactive content. He has spoken at global events throughout Europe, Asia, and North America, and his award-winning work has been featured at events such as SXSW, the Venice Bienalle, and the Cannes Film Festival.

He has over 15 years experience in scripted and interactive entertainment, most recently serving as Director of Global Programming and Executive Producer of AR/VR at NBCUniversal. He holds Bachelors degrees in Film Studies and Business Administration from UC Berkeley and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Integrated Design, Business & Technology at USC while developing his own original projects.
